PRPL CHLD IS A DJ / ARTIST / PRODUCER. HE GREW UP IN PITTSBURGH, PA AND TAUGHT HIMSELF HOW TO PLAY DRUMS, GUITAR, PIANO, SING, AND PRODUCE MUSIC.

At the age of 13, PRPL CHLD traveled to London to perform in the school orchestra, where he was exposed to all forms of electronic dance music, Euro-pop, and punk rock. He became a self-taught multi-instrumentalist and music producer, and began making his own albums at the age of 16.

​

PRPL CHLD later formed various pop-rock bands that toured the US and performed on tours such as The Vans Warped Tour. In 2017, he was nominated for “Best Pop Song” at the HMMA awards, and recently his music has been featured on Showtime, Amazon Prime, and Lyrical Lemonade.
